MCBC: Camp Squeah; Hope, BC - Head Cook, Full Time

Head Cook
Camp Squeah (Hope, BC) is looking for a full-time, year-round, long-term Head Cook. The position will combine hands-on meal prep and service in our kitchen, as well as management and spiritual mentorship to our kitchen staff. We serve up to 200 guests during our peak season, which runs from April through October. Through the winter we have a variety of groups who come to retreat at Camp Squeah.

The Head Cook with work together with the Food Services Manager to effectively manage the kitchen production of meals for our campers/guests. The ideal candidate would have experience running a large-scale commercial kitchen, have a strong Christian faith, be an organized leader, and also have a heart for camp ministry.

MCBC: Richmond Peace Chinese Mennonite Church, Youth Pastor

We are searching for a full-time youth pastor to build our Youth Ministry by providing spiritual leadership and pastoral care to the growing set of pre-teen and teen youths within our congregation. Responsibilities include providing direction and vision for the ministry, developing and executing weekly youth programs, ongoing mentoring and visitations and occasional assistance with our children’s ministry. Qualified candidates must be a graduate with a degree from an evangelical seminary or equivalent.

Salary range is from $60,000 per annum and will be determined based level of experience and education.
