MCBC: Eden Mennonite Church --- Administrative Assistant

Eden Mennonite Church is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to support the life and ministry of our congregation. This position is two days per week and involves working closely with our Lead Pastor and church leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

· Work closely with the lead Pastor and provide necessary support

· Provide general administrative and organizational support to church ministries

· Produce the weekly church bulletin and ensure relevant email communications

· Organize meetings (including scheduling and agendas where required)

· Respond to requests from the Pastor and members of the Church Board

· Coordinate facility rental requests and schedules

Qualifications:

· Strong relational and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized, with attention to detail

· Proficient in basic office software (Word, email, scheduling tools)

· Able to work independently and collaboratively in a church environment

Position Details:

· Part-time, two days per week (hours negotiable)

· Based in Chilliwack

Position Overview: The Senior Pastor will take on the role of spiritual overseer of the Church with responsibility for the direction of all its activities, ensuring that they operate in a way that displays LHCF’s vision and values.
