Mennonite Church British Columbia Leadership Board announces the interim appointment of Kevin Barkowsky to the Executive Minister position until this position is filled on a permanent basis through the ongoing Executive Minister search process. This appointment will take effect January 1, 2023 following Garry Janzen's retirement at the end of December 2022.
Kevin is currently employed as the MCBC Church Engagement Minister on a 50% basis. He will continue to work for MCBC on a 50% basis and will be adjusting his current tasks to incorporate the added responsibility of the Executive Minister position.
