Historical Sketch: Good Friend Fellowship*
Good Friend Fellowship was started by Vancouver Chinese Mennonite Church and the Evangelism and Church Development Committee (ECDC) of the Conference of Mennonites in British Columbia in 1990. It was an outreach ministry to Hong Kong immigrants and was located in the Vancouver Chinese Mennonite Church. Work began in 1990 and the fellowship was organized in 1991. Peter Liu was hired by ECDC. In the first few years, over 20 were baptized. The congregation remained within the conference until 1993.
