Mennonite Disaster Service

Menno Place

The Mennonite Benevolent Society is committed to providing excellent care and service in an atmosphere of warmth and compassion, based on principles of the Christian faith.  Housing and care is provided to residents regardless of ethnic, religious or national background.

Place of Refuge

Place of Refuge (located in Vancouver) provides a transitional living program for people recovering from alcohol and drug addictions. Their mandate is to provide a safe environment for people to become healthy, confident and drug-free.

Supportive Care Society

We serve people who live with disabilities, but that does not keep them from living full and abundant lives. They participate in programs, see friends, learn skills and accomplish goals. Communitas provides a place for people living with disabilities and the community we form together makes that a place to call home.
