Hope

Isaiah 9:6 "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
As we enter into the Advent season, we begin with the Hope candle. The birth of a Messiah was the symbol of hope for the Israelites, a bright light of their future in the dark days of present.
As we think about Hope, we invite you to pray for our Youth Ministries across MCBC. Many of today's youth are growing up in a world that at times, feels without hope entirely. These same youth will be the ones to bring that hope for the future of our world. Pray they will be bold in their faith, active in their communities, and filled with the kind of hope that can only come from our promised Messiah coming to make all things beautiful once more.
